Our laboratory covers blood sciences through to tissue diagnosis, running on automated analysers with quality-control protocols applied throughout, from the moment a sample is taken to the moment a report is released. Because imaging and pathology sit in the same building, a patient who needs both can usually complete them in one visit.

Our disciplines
What we test, and what it tells your doctor.
Haematology
Analysis of the blood itself; red cells, white cells and platelets. Used to investigate anaemia, infection and clotting, and to monitor patients on treatment.
Clinical Chemistry
Measurement of chemical markers in blood and other fluids, covering kidney and liver function, electrolytes, glucose, lipids and metabolic health.
Microbiology
Identification of bacteria, fungi and other organisms causing infection, with sensitivity testing to show which treatments an organism responds to.
Histology / Cytology
Microscopic examination of tissue and cell samples, including specimens taken during biopsy, to establish a tissue diagnosis.
Immunology
Testing that examines the immune system’s response, supporting the investigation of infection, allergy and immune-related conditions.
Hormonal Assays
Measurement of hormone levels, used in thyroid, reproductive, fertility and metabolic assessment.

Preparation
- Some tests require fasting; instructions are provided when you book
- Bring your doctor’s request form if you have one
- Tell us about medication you are taking, as some affect results
- Arrive with a form of identification
After your test
Results & turnaround
- Most results are ready within 24-48 hours
- Express handling is available for urgent cases
- Collect in person, or receive your report by email
- Delivery via WhatsApp where appropriate
